Your Google Account or Gmail is a user account or webmail account that provides access authentication and authorization to online services by Google. Most of us knew Google by their search engine called Google Search, which is their main product, but the company has many other services and products like Google +, YouTube, Google Drive, Google AdWords, Google AdSense, Blogger, Google Sites, Google Analytics, Google Alert and the list goes on. The good thing is, you can access all these services with your Gmail Account, as they quote “One account. All of Google”.

Upload and Publish Videos on YouTube
If you need a YouTube account to upload and publish videos; you must have a Gmail account, if you already have one; that means you already have an account with YouTube. All you’re required to do is to log in and start uploading.
Download Apps From The Play Store
If you’re an Android user you need to have a Gmail account to be able to download apps from the Play Store and also to make backups.
Sign Up to Other Websites
Other websites provide a third-party registration process using Google accounts. An Authentication and Authorisation in the Google Data Protocol is required to use your Google Account to sign up to other websites, which you must allow before proceeding.

Google Docs – A service that allows you to create an online document, spreadsheet, drawing, survey, and presentation, with document collaboration and publishing capabilities.
Google Drive – An online backup service and storage space with 15GB free. This service is connected with Google Docs.
Google Hangouts – An instant messaging and video chat platform.
Google+ – Google’s social networking service.
Google Sites– Website creation tool for private or public groups, for both personal and corporate use.
Google Maps – Mapping service that indexes streets and displays satellite and street imagery, providing driving directions and local business search.
Google Analytics – A website traffic statistics generator with strong AdWords integration, that allows Webmasters to monitor and optimize their website traffic.
