The team of the app WhatsApp has been doing some major upgrades lately to one of the most used messaging app all over the world. With new tools to help people and businesses communicate with each other they have recently introduce WhatsApp Business App for business owners. Another new feature is now introduced; that can enable group calls for video and voice with up to 4 participants.
This new feature was announced on the 30th of July, 2018 from the WhatsApp Blog. You can make a group call with up to four people total – anytime and anywhere. Just start a one-on-one voice or video call and tap the new “add participant” button in the top right corner to add more contacts to the call.
They said the Group calls are always end-to-end encrypted, and it’s designed to make calling to work reliably around the world in different network conditions. The feature is currently rolling out on the iPhone and Android versions of our app.
